All the windows and door locks etc work apart from the drivers sidei back door. So I dug out the good old Haynes manual and found the wiring diagrams for the door modules. Looks like LIN 1 is a Grey / Yellow cable, not a purple one, that must be for focus’ or others.

I have a Mondeo Mk4.5 facelift and the reverse lights are not working, I have checked the reverse switch with Ohms meter for continuity = OK & the reverse bulbs are good, I have seen other posts stating that the reverse signal is handled from the BCM under the passenger foot-well, I have checked fuses and all seem good, everything else is

I want to trace some wires and check connections, but they are difficult to get to without removing the dash :/. Sort by Oldest first.
As both the function of wiper and washer are separate and the control is separate, I wouldn't have thought that both would fail together other than the central control unit itself failing to operate these via software control. Try a disconnection of the battery to reset central control unit. LEDs, whats your Watts.
David2206. A Quick fix if your "Bonnet Open" warning on dash comes up and possibly electric windows, washer pump, air blowers and mirrors stop working. Take bonnet sensor socket off the bottom/ underneath side of the latch assembly carefully, it may have a squeeze connector on the side of it. Generally, hard wiring something usually requires access to a switched live, a permanent live and a ground. Most commonly, these can be found near the stereo however the Mondeo doesn't have a switched live stereo. Using a multimeter I was able to work out which fuses are permanent live, which go off after 15 minutes and which circuits go off

hi guys, i am looking for some help if you can please, i drove my ford mondeo titanium x the liverpool today from birmingham when i arrived i parked my car and pressed the button to shut the engine down, upon doing this the car made some fun noise's from the dash beeps and that so i pressed the engine button again and the car shut down as it should. now when igot back in my car 10 minutes

The convers+ dash is all working normally, but the dials have stopped moving. So engine revs, speed, fuel level and engine temperature all no longer working. The car drives normally still. The needle of the dials are illuminated but they no longer move. I stalled the engine earlier and then noticed after restarting the engine that the dials

I have same issue with Modeo MK4 2008 Dashboard. Earlier: LCD sometimes OFF, sometimes work well, sometimes mixed the pixels. Now: LCD 50% - OFF. Action: Resoldered of the main connector and the one of the LCD connector which side is not working well. But I do not know how looks like the real connection with the electrical panel.
Hi all, encountered a problem with my ACC recently, was driving around 10-15mph along a bone shaking gravel road when a message popped up on convers+ "ACC unavailable" and from that point 95% of the time it has refused to work, obviously cruise control was not active and being used when this happened. Initially thought it could be an ABS sensor
Insert the ignition key and turn from position II (Ignition) to position 0 (All off) and back four times within three seconds. Remove the ignition key. The locking control system is now in "learn mode" for the next 20 seconds and the red warning system LED (By the clock) stays on continuously to indicate this.
not sure if anyone has experienced this is issue but any info would be greatly appreciated, my mondeo mk 4 titanium x sport's dash has stoped working my speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and engine temp has stopped but everything else works as it should including cruise control etc, there is no faults coming up either. MikeMondeo. The Dashboard in my BA7 MK4 has a Black out. The error appears as periodically outtage of all the lights. Sometimes it comes once a week and starts while drivingnext morning it’s back in normal mode. Sometimes the Dashboard is blacked out Wien starting the car in the morningand.
